TEACH Ethiopia Social Enterprise is a social entrepreneurial initiative striving for innovation and transformation. (TEACH stands for Training, Education, Attitude formation, Communication and Hiring) TEACH Ethiopia Social Enterprise has got a clear social mission set out. It is situated in Addis Ababa and will branch out in other parts of the country (when deemed necessary). Established in November 2019, TEACH Ethiopia Social Enterprise is structured as a for-profit organization (PLC) in line with the commercial registration and business license proclamation number 686/2010 of Ethiopia. TEACH Ethiopia Social Enterprise envisions skilled and value-oriented youths towards combating youths-unemployment.

The core purposes of TEACH Ethiopia SE include enhancing capacities, unleashing values and bridging employment i.e a) Enhancing capacities (developing personal, social, entrepreneurial skills, etc); b)Unleashing values (developing attitudes and mindset); and c)Bridging employment (facilitation of internship and other employment bridging schemes and labor marketing).

Since its establishment, TEACH Ethiopia Social Enterprise has been engaged in various initiatives that include Execution of a project: TEACH Ethiopia Social Enterprise (TESE), with the support of First Consult, has implemented the project entitled �Provision of Entrepreneurship, Social and Employability Skills Training and Facilitation of Enterprise Development and Employment to Unemployed Youths� in Dera Woreda and Hamusit Town Administration in South Gondar Zone. TESE successfully executed and completed the project that was aimed at a)Enhancing capacities of youth graduates towards bridging employment / entrepreneurship; b)Helping the youths access to finance; and c)Ensuring the trained youths either start their own business or got employed. It was thus able to support 702 unemployed youths to develop their own enterprises. በዛላ ወረዳ ለ3 ተከታታይ ቀናት የሚቆይ ለሴት ወጣቶች የተዘጋጀ ስልጠና ተጀመረ ሣውላ ፣ መጋቢት 16 ፣ 2016 ዓ.ም በጎፋ ዞን ዛላ ወረዳ ለ3 ተከታታይ ቀናት የሚቆይ በTeach Ethiopia social interprize ለሴት ወጣቶች የሚሰጠው ስልጠና ተጀምሯል። ስልጠናው በተለያዩ ቀበሌያት እየተሰጠ የሚገኝ ሲሆን የወጣት ሴቶች የሥራ ፈጠራ ክህሎት ላይ እና በስራ ላይ በሚስተዋሉ አመለካከቶች ለውጥ ላይ ዓላማውን ያደረገ ስልጠና ነው። የመክፈቻ ንግግር ያደረጉት የዛላ ወረዳ ዋና አስተዳዳሪ አቶ ያዕቆብ ዘካርያስ ስልጠናውን አስመልክተው እንደገለፁት ከስራ እድል ፈጠራ ጋር ተያይዞ የሚታዩ የአመለካከት እና ስራን የማማረጥ ክፍተቶችን ለመሙላት እጅግ አስፈላጊና ሕይወት ያለው ስልጠና እንደሆነ በመናገር ሠልጣኞች በትኩረት መከታተል አለባቸው ስሉ ተናግረዋል። የTeach Ethiopia Scocial Enterprize ፕርጀክት ዋና ስራአስኪያጅ አቶ ተስፋዬ ይሁኔ በስልጠናው የሚሳተፉ ሴት ወጣቶች በሚሰጠው ስልጠና ሥራ ፈጣሪ እንዲሆኑና በሥራ ላይ ያላቸውን አመለካከትን በማስተካከል ህይወታቸውን እንዲመሩበት የሚረዳ እጅግ ወሳኝ ስልጠና ነው ስሉ ገልፀዋል። የዘጎፋ ዞን የገጠር የሥራ ዕድል ፈጠራ ዘርፍ አቶ ሙኔ በትሶ በስራ እድል ፈጠራ (Entrepreneurship) ዙሪያ ለሴት ወጣቶች በተለያዩ ስድስት ርዕሶች ላይ ትኩረት ተደርጎ የሚሠጥ ለሥራ ተነሳሽነትን የምፈጥር ስልጠና ነው ብለው ስልጠናው ለ3 ተከታታይ ቀናት እንደሚሠጥ ተናግረዋል። በስልጠናው ከ340 ሴቶች በላይ እየተሳተፉ ይገኛሉ። ➡️የዛላ ወረዳ የመንግሥት ኮሚዩኒኬሽን ጉዳዮች ጽ/ቤት .

The teachers development training includes also skills like Employability and work readiness skills (CV development, interview management, and work ethics); Work place skills (strategic thinking, planning and organizing, negotiation, decision making, etc); Extracurricular programs management skills; and digital literacy to prospective teachers.
This scheme refers to selection, recruitment, development and placement of highly motivated recent university graduates and young professionals from varied disciplines towards facilitating them to get employed. In this program, we receive a range of applications of graduate unemployed youths (GUY) .
TEACH Ethiopia Social Enterprise takes subsgranting contracts to implement development projects aimed at: Enhancing capacities of youth graduates towards bridging employment / entrepreneurship Helping the youths access to finance and Ensuring the trained youths either start their own business or got employed .
This sub-scheme is about provision of skills enhancement training to the needy people in areas like Business communications Personal development Business management and entrepreneurial skills
The teachers development program of TESE is basically aimed at providing PGDT and other pedagogical training to potential teachers and placing them at /matching them with corresponding schools. We support graduates (particularly girls) of English, physics, geography, biology, chemistry, mathematics… to be employed for teaching / teachers through provision of PGDT and other pedagogical schemes in collaboration with partner universities/colleges and matching with schools/employers. This scheme refers to selection, recruitment, development and placement of highly motivated recent university graduates and young professionals from varied disciplines towards facilitating them to get employed. In this program, we receive a range of applications of graduate unemployed youths (GUY) who would like to serve as interns, scrutinize, screen, assess/test and develop their employability and work readiness skills, and subsequently place them at various host companies/organization to initially serve as interns and potentially turn to be employees or entrepreneurs.

Our development projects intend to increase academic performance/success rates of secondary school students; and develop psychosocial competencies and interpersonal skills of secondary school students. We develop knowledge and soft skills of students. We enhance individual and institutional capacities of schools and digital literacy of school communities. The sum of which shall pave the way for students’ success in their career development, employability and beyond.
